Mark R. Cuker concentrates on mass tort, environmental, product liability, and consumer cases including unfair business practices.

Born in Philadelphia to survivors of the Holocaust, he has devoted his entire professional career to representing victims of corporate or government wrongdoing.

Mr. Cuker has successfully represented consumers in three cases before the New Jersey Supreme Court:

Strawn v. Canuso, (establishing a real estate developer's duty to disclose an off site toxic waste dump to prospective buyers)

Perez v. Rent A Center (ruling that rent-to-own contracts charged illegal interest, which led to a $109 million settlement)

Muhammad v. County Bank (ruling that a payday loan contract provision which banned class actions, is unconscionable and unenforceable)

Mr. Cuker has also been deeply involved in such high-profile toxic tort cases as the Toms River Childhood Cancer Cluster and the Agent Orange litigation.

Both Mr. Cuker and the firm of Williams, Cuker & Berezofsky have been rated "AV," the highest rating given by legal publisher Martindale Hubbell.

In 2006 and 2007, he was named a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" for class action and mass tort litigation.

Mr. Cuker is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and before the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Associations and Trial Lawyers for Public Justice.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of TEACH (Toxic Environments Affect Children's Health).

Before co-founding the law firm of Williams & Cuker, which became Williams Cuker & Berezofsky in 1996, he worked with the law firms of Wapner & Newman, and R. David Bradley.

Mr. Cuker graduated magna cum laude from Temple University in 1972. In 1975, he received a law degree from Villanova University, where he ranked second in a class of 217, and served as editor of the law review.

Married and the father of two, he lives in Dresher, Pennsylvania.
